Toronto, Canada – A man claims he feels fulfilled and accomplished after berating a teenaged retail worker making minimum wage.
47 year old Bob Porter from Oakville, Canada, walked into a retail store at a mall, hoping to buy a handbag for his 62 year old girlfriend’s birthday. Porter walked into the store without a mask on his face. The teenaged store associate requested he put on a mask. Porter claimed he didn’t have one. The store associate offered a mask to Porter, free of charge. That’s when Porter got heated and began berating the young associate.
The incident lasted for many minutes before security stepped in and kicked the man out of the mall. It has yet to be determined whether Porter will face any charges for the incident.
Porter is a well known anti-mask and anti-vaccine protestor. Pictured above participating in a ‘freedom’ march last year, Porter has developed a reputation for having loud, aggressive outbursts at retail establishments that require patrons to mask up.
When asked why he keeps acting this way, he claims that it gives him a sense of fulfillment.
“By telling us that we need to wear masks and put this vaccine poison into our bodies, they want to control us. Alls’ I’m doin’ is speaking up and resisting. That’s my duty. When I do that, I feel like I’m a part of something – a part of something bigger than me. It’s a mission for me to resist this oppression. I don’t care how old you are, if you’re telling me to do something that I don’t want to do, I’m going to tell you how I feel.”

When probed for more, Porter claimed that he has made new friends and feels a sense of community with the rest of the pro-covid community. He claims that they are his true friends despite the fact that he hasn’t met many of them. They’re mostly on Facebook. Porter also claims that he feels like he’s part of an army and that the rest of the ‘soldiers’ have his back whenever he needs them. When asked if he could provide an example of when fellow anti-maskers had his back, he was unable to provide a concrete example.
Porter has been chronically unemployed for many years and lives with his elderly parents who support him financially. They do not seem thrilled about his activities online or at the stores. However, they are resigned to the fact that they won’t be able to stop him. They did not want to be identified for this story due to the shame and embarrassment they felt about this latest incident. They did disclose that they bought him a membership to a gym once things opened up in the hopes that he could get into shape. Porter did go to the gym but was promptly banned from the establishment after he harassed a female member for wearing a mask.
Porter says he plans to continue yelling at people because he’s never had higher self esteem than he does right now.
